Our Mission

A wedding video is about capturing the moments that really happened so you can watch it back and get that same feeling of joy you felt throughout your special day. It’s important to capture the laughter and the tears, the hugs, the toasts, the in-between moments, and most of all the dancing!

We want to make you cry.

A wedding video tells a story unique to the bride & groom. We use the audio captured throughout the day — vows, toasts, interviews, etc — to help us tell that story and relive all the emotions you felt that day.

We want to make you laugh.

Weddings are joyful occasions full of fun, humor, and dancing. We want your wedding video to make you happy, remember the moments that made you laugh, and highlight all the shenanigans of a fun and joyful wedding.

We want you to watch your wedding video over and over again.

Our goal with every single video is to make something that the bride and groom want to watch over and over and over again.

Lindsey Bell-Towne

Lindsey recorded and edited her first wedding video when she was 11 years old. It was pretty terrible, but the bride was surprised and happy to have a video documenting her wedding day (even if it focused more than she’d like to admit on the other 11 year-olds at the wedding). She’s learned a lot since then. She got her first DSLR when she was 17 and has learned to use it like it’s an extension of herself. She’s learned to edit videos that tell a story and make people relive the feelings of the moments captured.

Taking and watching home videos has been such an important part of her life. She really appreciates the importance of capturing a day as significant as your wedding day and immortalizing it in film.

Alexander Bell-Towne

Alex bought his first DSLR after flirting with Lindsey about cameras. She told him she had a Nikon. He bought one too. At the time, he had no idea this was a brilliant choice because he would be sharing lenses with her for the rest of his life.

Alex is the technical expert in the relationship (and in most situations). He ensures that no technical difficulties occur throughout the day.

He also happens to be the friendliest and most energetic person you’ll ever meet. I guarantee he will only add calm and joy to your day (as well as your guests’).

Filming Strategy:

Cameras

We film every wedding with 3-5 cameras. This allows us to capture multiple perspectives and catch every important moment.

Audio

We capture important audio from the day in a variety of ways. We have a lapel mic we put on the groom to capture the vows during the ceremony and the words exchanged during the first look. We also connect into the DJ’s audio system for the ceremony and reception to capture all of the audio coming through the microphone.

Interviews

At the couple’s option, we conduct interviews with the bride and groom the morning of the wedding to capture their excitement and love on their special day.
